Discontinuation of Tokyo Stock Exchange Data and Market Access Services
- Discontinuing real-time data subscription to Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), and - No longer be offering market access to TSE
Dear CGS-CIMB TH Customer,
In an effort to streamline our product offerings, effective 31 December 2022 we will be:
• Discontinuing real-time data subscription to Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), and
• No longer be offering market access to TSE.
What this means to you:
This means that after 31 December 2022 all TSE price feeds (delayed and real-time) will no longer be available, and TSE stocks/instruments will be removed and can no longer be bought.
However, any existing TSE positions you have with us will continue to be visible in your Portfolio, in the Positions screen on the ProsperUs trading platform, and reflected on your account statements. Your ownership of TSE stocks and instruments you hold will remain unchanged. You will also still be able to sell your existing TSE positions after 31 December 2022.
Your options:
If you currently subscribe to real-time TSE data…
• You do not need to do anything. We will automatically unsubscribe you on 31 December 2022, and you will no longer be charged.
• If you choose to unsubscribe before then, you can do so by selecting “Unsubscribe” in the Market Subscription menu.
If you currently hold TSE positions with ProsperUs, you can continue to maintain them with us. While you won’t be able to add to your positions, you’ll be able to sell them even after 31 December 2022.
• Between now and 31 December 2022, to sell your TSE positions, just do so as usual via the ProsperUs trading platform.
• After 31 December 2022, to sell your TSE positions, you’ll have to call our Cross Border Trading department at 02-841-9000 press 1 and 4 to execute your sell order. The dealers will ask you for some information as part of the regulatory requirement to ensure the identity of the client is verified before trades execution can be carried out.
